Gorgeous little campsite with generous size pitches, a handy little store and a clean quaint shower room. The real treasure here is the owners, who really go the extra mile to make sure you feel welcome, cooking amazing pizza from scratch, and joining the guests at the woodshed fire for a drink and chat. The pub (the racehorse) is well worth a visit, featuring a wide range of ales and food to tempt you, but trust me, you really don't want to miss the pizza nights. A wonderful night's stay, and we will definitely be back for a longer visit.

Beautiful, clean, and peaceful campsite. The owners, Richard and Sally, were both lovely; they seemed like they couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable, and both welcomed me with warm smiles and handshakes. The site has plenty of room between pitches, and looks like it might have been a meadow once, complete with pond, and a play area. There are toilets, a shower and a small but well-stocked store. Just a quick overnighter for me this time round, but I'm already looking for an excuse to come back for a longer stay

i loved it, clean facilities, fun things to do for children, run by kind people, cute cats, pet friendly, in a lovely place! i really recommend coming here, it’s in such a lovely place with so many things to do!! i’m going to miss this enchanted place…

A really wonderful campsite in the middle of the Suffolk countryside. Sally was incredibly welcoming and a wonderful cook - highly recommend her homemade cake and breakfast baps. The perfect base for a relaxed walking or cycling holiday - only a couple of miles from the station and surrounded by wonderful places to cycle and walk. Cosy, clean bathroom, small honesty shop and washing up area. Perfect place to enjoy a campfire and peaceful break. Really highly recommended.

What a gem of a campsite. A friendly welcome was followed up a beautifully quiet 'back to basics' campsite. The facilities were spotlessly clean and every need was catered for. The honesty store had all of the essentials in including fire pits, logs, charcoal, food and snacks and even a kettle for general use. We loved that the campsite was very keen on recycling and the sorting of rubbish was made very easy with the different bins provided. We cannot recommend this little site enough for a quiet break away and will definitely look forward to returning again in 2023

What a great site! We rocked up in our campervan and greeted by the lovely Sally, who informed us that we are the sole guests for our stay - we stayed for the last week of the season, with the site closing for the winter the day after we left. Such a pleasant site, and I could easily imagine it thriving during the summer with very close attention paid to nature and the environment, but buzzing with people and bees alike. So many lovely little touches, thoughtful additions and an acute awareness to what makes camping so special - a little vase of fresh flowers in the toilet/shower room, dog treats in the little 'store' (stocked with so many little niceties and thoughtful additions for the seasoned and novice camper). If you're looking for the 'sanitised' and frankly soulless camping experience, then look away. Both Sally and Rich are lovely, and clearly cherish making people feel welcome - both happy to chat and advise on local walks, places to visit and eateries. Be sure to take a map from the store and venture out on the 5 mile loop walk - you'll be amazed what you see.... ;-) Also, visit the Racehorse pub just a short walk from the site - I can thoroughly recommend the pizza, the ales, and the chat! Sunnyside is full of charm, and our only slight gripe is the singular electric pitch (but that's not an issue if, like me, you prefer 'real' camping to glamping), and single shower - which wasn't an problem for us as we were the sole campers, but can imagine it being a challenge during the busy months. That said, it really is me nit-picking. It's a small price to pay for such a charming little site. Visit once, and I'm sure you'll tell your friends, and visit again if you visit once.

A little gem of a campsite. Peaceful, rustic and a good base to explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Sally and Richard are lovely hosts along with their chickens and three legged cat. I cycled to Southwold in about 45 minutes and enjoyed a pint there. The local pub (The Racehorse) is just down the road and they are very friendly there as well. I stayed for two nights and wish I could have stayed for longer. I will be returning for sure.

Fantastic little campsite. Wonderful hosts. Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely walks, raised campfires allowed. Non smoking site. Couldn't have had a better time. Will be coming back as soon as we can.

Friendly owners. Clean toilet and nice little, lit-up sink area for washing dishes/hands etc. Almost wild as no shower block but they do provide hook up so you're not completely without modernity. Lovely site with a brook nearby. Trees with swings and trampolines too so lots to keep the kids occupied. Only issue, there seems to be a lot of wasps here at the moment, hovering all over the grass! Luckily, you're allowed BBQs and fires (they have fire pits and slabs to rent) so that keeps the insects away.

Very welcoming host's. A lovely two nights stay. Fridge/ freezer available and access to washing up facilities. Good for children. Beautiful surroundings. We hope to return.
